When will the new bankruptcy law which will exempt RRSP’s come into effect?

What is the maximum time frame a creditor has to collect a debt?
What legislation / regulation governs this?
If these regulations exist, do they apply in the event of a failed consumer proposal or OPD?

My creditors won’t stop calling!!!

I have 3 student loans, but 2 of them have been sent to a collection agency, now if I file a bankruptcy will I be cleared?

I need to file for bankruptcy in Alberta and need to select a trustee are there any special questions I should be asking or anything specific I should look for to make sure I find teh trustee that would be the best for me?
