If i file for bankruptcy, regardless of having student loans that will not be 10 years old until dec of 2007, is there any way to get those erased when the 10 years expiteres other then going through bankruptcy again?

On my credit report I have noticed that there are two hard inquires from two collection agencies. I never agreed to credit with these two companies and wonder why this was done and if this was done lawfully? Do I have any recourse?

After I have filed for bankruptcy, successfully completed my duties and have been discharged, who provides a copy of the discharge papers to the creditors? Do I have to do this?

I was told that in Oct/96 the Canadian Govt would not allow people to claim bankruptcy on student loans. Then another friend said that if you havent paid your student loan in over 10 years they become eligible for bankruptcy. Is this true? I have 10000 in student loans and have not ever paid on […]

Am I breaking the law if I don’t call my creditors back when they leave messages demanding money? it isn’t that I don’t want to call them, but I just don’t want to give them another excuse as to why the money isn’t there.
