what if most of my debt has accumulated as a result of a terrible addiction that I have been suffering from. I am not in treatment, the treatment seems to be working but I can no longer afford to pay for these debts, live and pay for the necessary treatment.
My husband and I are currently suing a company and the owner of said company for damages of over $6,000. Can the person we are suing declare bankrupcy while being sued in Small Claims Court and if they do declare bankrupcy do they still need to pay us the amount or do they get away [...]
