If a person who is bankrupt has been ordered by court to pay for an additional 12 montsh because they have high income, are they discharged at the end of the 9 months or or do they not get discharged until the 21 months are done and all the payments have been made?

I’ve read in some sites that say a bankruptcy is erased from your credit file after 7 years and some says 6 years.
Which one is it?

I dont think I understand how the laws around student loans work. Is it that you need to be out of school for 10 years or is it that 10 years from the date you started making payments?
