posted by Questions @ Hello. I claimed bankruptcy in January of 2007 and have now been discharged. We did authorize our trustee to do our 2007 taxes (and keep our 2007 taxes). So this means that they will keep our taxes up to the date of bankrutpcy, correct?
How does a leased car get dealt with in a personal bankruptcy? Would I have to surrender the car if I go bankrupt? Or how would this be dealt with?
I have some major problems with debt. Right now I have a lawyer saying they are going to take us to court.

Just wondering if someone in bankruptcy, and not yet discharged, is able to have a credit card?
The reason I ask is that I was pre-approved for a credit card, I have received it and have not used it.
Am I able to use it?
