RESP`s

My wife and I are not having to look into bankruptcy. But we currently have RESP’s for 3 of our children.
I understand that in most cases these are lost, but the money comes from my parents and they contribute to them monthly.
Would these have to be dissolved and the money put towards our debts?

Already discharged

Hello,
I filed bankruptcy in Edmonton and was discharged automatically on the nine months aniversarry.
