Can a person file for bankruptcy more than once?

I was divorced back in Novemer 2005. I also had to go throug a bankruptcy just before that. Since then my life has turned into one finacial disaster after another, thanks to my ex-wife, and I need to know if I can claim bankruptcy for a second time.

Questions about a bankruptcy

A few questions.
1. Should I declare bankruptcy if I have 25K credit line debt and about 5K in credit card debt .
2. If I declare bankruptcy now, can I still move. If I can is this just in Canada or can I move to the US?

Are there limits to a garnishee

I assume there are rules about garnisheeing of wages. Is this correct? Assuming I am correct how much of one’s earnings can they garnishee? Most of my debt is to the governemt, are they still bound by these rules.

Surplus Income

Surplus Income has me a little confuesd. If i file for bankruptcy I will have surplus income in excess of $1000 per month but less than 2000 per month.
