A few questions.
1. Should I declare bankruptcy if I have 25K credit line debt and about 5K in credit card debt .
2. If I declare bankruptcy now, can I still move. If I can is this just in Canada or can I move to the US?

I assume there are rules about garnisheeing of wages. Is this correct? Assuming I am correct how much of one’s earnings can they garnishee? Most of my debt is to the governemt, are they still bound by these rules.

I live in Edmonton and am considering filing for bankruptcy. If I do does my husband have to file? And if I do file for bankruptcy does it affect him in any way?
