I think that I need to file either a bankruptcy proposal. But the main debt I have is tax. Will taxes be cleared?

posted by Questions @ If I file for bankruptcy now (before the new laws are active) and am not discharged until after the new laws are active, which laws will I be subject to? Will I be under the new laws or grandfathered in under the old laws?
I was reading somewhere that the Superintendents Standards for 1 person for the purpose of calculating the cost of a bankruptcy was $1713. Has this figure increase for 2008?
