equity in house and a consumer proposal

I have a house valued at $140,000.00 with a mtg of $40,0000 on it. It is both my name and my wifes name, and I dont` want to go bankrupt!
If I file a consumer proposal what happens to the house.

secured credit card and consumer proposal

I have a home trust secured credit card. Can I keep this if I file a consumer proposal? I know I can`t with a bankruptcy, but is it different with the proposal?

Is it possible for me to file for bankruptcy without affecting my husbands credit?
My other question is about the loans I have that really don`t cause me any problems. Can I file bankruptcy only on my loans that are not in good standing?

co-signed a car and impact on bankruptcy

If I co-signed a loan for someone to buy a car and now, two years later, they (as in the person that who I co-signed for) decided to file for bankruptcy, Can the bank go after the co-signer for the remaining balance of the loan?
