If my father passes away, I am the beneficary on an annuity he has. However, the annuity is not paid out until June 2012. If I declare bankruptcy or do a proposal would my creditors be able to go after the annuity?

If a consumer proposal is in effect, are you permitted to make extra payments to pay it down faster? (Ex there is a temporary availability of overtime at work so temporary increase in income).
