Bankruptcy Edmonton: Statistics for 2005 and 2004
According to bankruptcy Edmonton statistics released by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy, the personal bankruptcy rate in Edmonton and Alberta in general fell in 2005, as noted in the chart below. The booming resource sector was largely responsible for the decrease in personal bankruptcies in Alberta. According to bankruptcy statistics for 2005 and 2004, Alberta had the largest decrease in the rate of personal bankruptcies in 2005 of any province in Canada.
