If one is heading towards bankruptcy, is it is a good idea to at least make the minimum payment for the mc or visa for the institution where one does one’s banking?
If you have a mc or visa at the same bank your savings account is at, can they take the minimum payment for the mc or visa out of one’s chequing or savings account?

If you have already decided to file a bankruptcy there is no value to making the minimum payments, you are better off to use the following link and simply contact a licensed trustee.

As for the bank, and whether or not they can take payments directly from you account, yes they can. As a result we always suggest it is better for you to open a new account at an institution you do not owe money to and they will no loner have this ability.
