creditor calls

What can I do to get the calls from creditors to stop? Is there anything I can say over the phone to creditors if I have an appointment to see a credit counsellor?

Realistically, if you owe your creditor money, they have the right to collect. So as a result you either need to negotiate payment terms that are acceptable to the collection agent, or explore the filing of a consumer proposal, Orderly Payment of Debts or a bankruptcy, these are the only ways to remove the ability the collection agents.
