Hello,

Me an my wife just declared bankruptcy and have one question (by the way, your site was extremely useful and we wanted to thank you for all your efforts). Now the question, my mom co-signed a loan for me and now I have gone bankrupt. Is there going to be any impact on here credit if she keeps up with the loan payments?

Thanks in advance!

As you are aware your mother is obligated to make the payments and as long as she stays current on these payments your bankruptcy shouldn’t have any impact on your mothers credit rating.
