You can definately file for bankruptcy, but in terms of what will hapen to the vehicle and the trailer will depend on a) how much the vehicle and trailer is worth, and b) whether there is any loans against the vehicle and trailer.

If you have a loan against the trailer and vehicle typically you need to have the bank’s permission to retain the property. When secured loans are involved the only way you can retain the property is if you continue to make the payments on teh secured loans and the bank permits you to keep the property.
