Bill C-12, bankruptcy and student loans

I am confused about Bill C-12, has it been enacted? If I file for bankruptcy can I include my student loans which are 8 years old.

As of today Bill C-12 has not been enacted. As a result if you file for bankruptcy you are still bound by the current 10 year rule. While no actual date has been announced, from the looks of things it appears that everyone is gearing up for November 2008. However, be advised this is simply an estimate.
