Vehicle exemption

Hello. One question, I have a car loan, my payments are up to date, I have less than $5000 in equity and I need my car for work.
Will I be able to keep my car if I file a consumer proposal or bankruptcy?

In most instances, regardless whether you are looking a a consumer proposal or a bankruptcy you will be able to retain the vehicle. Technically speaking this is up to the lender, but you will find that most lenders are open to and prefer if you retain the vehicle.
