I have read that in a bankruptcy I have to give all my credit cards to my trustee, even if there is a zero balance on the card. Is this the same if I file a proposal.

The reason I ask is that for work I do a lot of travel and I need be able to keep a card for these expenses as it is required for me to be reimbursed.

No, in a proposal if you want to retain a card with a Zero balance it is possible. You should discuss this with the trustee’s office the first time you sit down with them.
