My common law and I have lived together for just over a year. He is looking at filing a bankruptcy. This bankruptcy will be only in his name, we have no joint accounts, no joint debts, we simply live together and share expenses. Right now I have exceptional credit, my beacon score is healthy, my R rating is stellar and my debt load is very minimal when compared to my assets and income. Will his bankruptcy affect my credit?

There is no way your common laws credit or his bankrupotcy will impact your credit. Only your debts can impact your credit. So if you are listed jointly on any debts then it is possible, but if you have not signed on anything with him then anything he does legally cannot impact your creditl
