I have heard that if you have already filed for bankruptcy that you can file a application with the courts for hardship. Who does this. I contacted my original trustee and they are not doing this. Can you please tell who can help me file this application, what do I have to do and the cost. Much appreciated

This is true, you can make an application for hardship once 5 years has expired since the date you last attended school. This application is to request that the court orders your student loans be cleared. This is an application that would be made by a lawyer and they would have to demonstrate that you have not benefited in any way from the education received and that paying back the loans will put you in a position of significant hardship.
