Previous meeting with a trustee.

Hello. I went to see a trustee about 8 months ago. The trustee told me I needed to file bankruptcy, but didn`t explain anything about it. At that time I chose not to file a bankruptcy because i thought i could somehow pull out of this mess and I really didn`t feel comfortable with the office I met with. I have now done some research, spent a lot of time on the internet, have been impressed by the time and energy you put into resources like this and I would really like to meet with you. Do i Have to go to the same trustee i met with last time or can I go somewhere else?

There is no obligation to file with the first trustee. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable with your trustee, and if you don’t you are best to contact another office until you have found a trustee you have confidence in.
