The impact of a bankruptcy on joint property really depends on a number of things, including:
1. the value of the property in question;
2. the presence of any loans that are attached to that property;
3. the amount of any loans attached to the property;
4. who’s names are associated with those loans;
5. whether the loans are up to date;
6. whether your ex/spouse is able to continue to make the payments on any loans;
7. the details included in any separation agreement.
