taxes an bankruptcy vs. consumer proposal

If I file for bankruptcy do my tax returns get seized? And if so, for which year?Is this the same if I file a consumer proposal

Yes, if a bankruptcy is filed all tax returns for the year of bankruptcy or any prior year are lost as part of the bankruptcy and ultimately are used to create a bit of a recovery for your creditors.

This is not the same if a consumer proposal, in a consumer proposal no tax returns are lost.
