Regardless of what actions the creditors have taken, when a <a HREF="http://www.bankruptcy-edmonton.com/bankruptcy-edmonton.htm" rel="nofollow">bankruptcy</A> is filed there is an immediate Stay of Proceedings that immediately prevents your standard unsecured creditors form making any collection attempts and will stop this garnishee. For more information on this you are best to contact a <a HREF="http://www.bankruptcy-edmonton.com/bankruptcy-trustees-in-edmonton.htm" rel="nofollow">local trustee</A> and I would recommend that you do it sooner rather than later as the sooner you do the quicker the garnishment can be released.
