what do I loose in bankruptcy

We need to file for bankruptcy but my wife is concerned about loosing her romance books, and our DVD movies. my sons xbox, wii games ect.

What I need to know is can I include these things in the $4000 each for furnishings etc.?

Yes, you will be able to include these types of items in the household furnishings category, so you can tell your wife that the liklihood of loosing any of this property is very small.
