bankruptcy and a vehicle

my finances are a MESS!!!
I was wondering if I choose bankruptcy do I loose my car
The car is financed and I can still pay for that, I need my car for work, does that change things?

As long as you are up to date on the car payments and you have less than $5,000 equity in the vehicle then the filing of a bankruptcy shouldn’t have any impact on things and you will be able to keep the vehicle.
