I have a limited company here in alberta. I have about 25k in tax debt, another 40k i owe to suppliers, a line of credit for about 20k. The corporation has no assets, do I need to file for Bankruptcy?

I am looking at filing either a bankruptcy or a consumer proposal (but I can`t decide). The one thing I can`t find on this site deals with traffic fines. Can these be cleared by filing a bankruptcy or a proposal?

I am $150k in debt. I have an extrodinary credit history as I have never missed or even been late for any payments. I am considering a proposal and I was wondering if my impeccable credit history will increase the likelihood of my creditors accepting the proposal. Thanks.

I have a friend who told me that I can`t file bankruptcy on outstanding taxes. Is this right?
They also told me a bankruptcy would last for 7 years, is this true?
