I’m Canadian, but now live in the US. Am I still eligible to file a consumer proposal to deal with my Canadian debt even if I am living in the US?

You maybe able to file a bankruptcy despite living abroad if you:
1. have property in Canada (this may include money, goods, or property of any kind, including real or personal, legal or equitable;
2. have carried on business in Canada in the preceding year
3. re-establish residency in Canada prior to filing a consumer proposal or a bankruptcy
