I owe CRA a lot of taxes, probably about 25k. I am self enployed and have lost many of my large accounts. My company has done its yearly taxes and is up to date. I have been bankrupt before and am now in a position that I may have to file a Consumer proposal. What do I have to do regarding my personal past taxes.

A consumer proposal may be an option, but realistically it will dpend on how much your other debts ar. The reason this is so important is that CRA very rarely will cooperate with a proposal. So unless your other debts are large enough to out vote CRA then teh proposal may not be the best solution. The best thing to do is to simply give me a call at 780-435-5110, we can run through the composition of your debts and determine whether or not a propsal will work.
