My husband and I are intrested in filing a consumer proposal but don`t know where to start. What we would need to do to start and can you give us an idea of the fees and costs involved?

The first thing you need to do is to contact alocal trustee. Together you will determine what is reasonable to offer to the creditors. The trustee will have the paper work drawn up and then you will need to make a return appointment to sign the official documents.
